- Confirm the actual supplier and transfer instructions. This is not an ORIX-counter or SIXT-specific reservation.
Tokyo
The short answer
For the SIXT example, find the ORIX desk using the route for Terminal 1 or 2. Call the branch from there and follow the pickup directions.

Compare the trip fit, access and drawback before choosing.
| Choice | ORIX-counter reception for the SIXT branch process | City pickup after arrival and a Tokyo stay |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | A SIXT booking using the documented Narita counter-and-shuttle plan. | A trip whose driving part begins later. |
| Good to know | The branch gives distinct Terminal 1 and 2 ORIX counter directions, followed by a call and transfer. | The Tokyo Station and Shinjuku guides document actual city-office approaches. |
| Trade-off | Counter reception, waiting and the office journey all precede car pickup. | A later office transfer moves the bags again. |
| Next step | Prepare the Narita handoff sequence | Compare a station-area start |
SIXT gives separate ORIX desk routes for Narita Terminals 1 and 2. A call and transfer follow reception; a Terminal 3 arrival needs confirmation.
| Arrival in the SIXT example | Published reception route | Step afterward |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal 1 | ORIX counter near the central exit of the central wing, first floor | Call the branch using the counter phone and use the indicated pickup point |
| Terminal 2 | ORIX counter near North Exit 2, first floor | Call the branch and follow the counter's pickup details |
| Terminal 3 | No route inferred from the two directions above | Check the actual provider's current approach before booking |
Car rental at Tokyo Narita needs the terminal reception and branch shuttle included in the plan. A rental counter is not necessarily where the car is parked. Check your supplier and office, then save the return process before the first drive.
Check Narita in the flight and rental details, then note the terminal. Do not apply Haneda's meeting points to a Narita booking. The Tokyo rental guide compares the wider airport and city choices.
If Tokyo city nights come first, compare a later office near the place you will leave from. Narita pickup can suit the road-trip start after the flight. But include the transfer, handoff and driver-energy check in that first day.
Source: SIXT Narita. The branch describes transport to the rental car after reception. Read the complete current directions for the accepted booking.
Keep the booking number, branch name and contact ready after baggage pickup. Check the supplier before joining a transfer. The process can differ from another airport even if the brand matches. Use the route for this booking.
Read the current branch hours and accepted pickup time for the actual flight. Include entry steps and bags, then the counter and shuttle steps. Do not set a first driving appointment from the scheduled landing alone.
Ask about late-arrival and no-show terms before a near-closing booking. Report a delay through the selected provider's official process. A flight number does not guarantee the car will be held or the office kept open.
Tell the supplier about bulky bags or an access need before travel. Check the transfer, office entrance and booked car. Each part must fit. A shuttle estimate does not include all waiting or loading time.
Save the actual return entrance and fuel directions at pickup. An airport branch can still be outside the terminal complex. So use the agreed office destination. Do not substitute a passenger drop-off area or car park.
Build the final sequence backward from the airline's check-in needs. Include fuel if needed, car check, unloading and the transfer to the correct terminal. A short shuttle ride is not the whole return allowance.
If departure moves to another terminal, ask about the transfer. If the rental period or return office changes, obtain supplier acceptance before acting. Other travel changes do not automatically amend the car agreement.
Use Narita when the road segment starts from the actual flight arrival and the driver is ready. Use a later city office when Tokyo days come first and do not need the car. Compare the luggage movement and complete rental period in both plans.
The Shinjuku guide and Tokyo Station guide give the branch-level questions for city starts. Their counter and parking levels can differ. So a later pickup still needs a precise access plan.
Read the permit guide and rental rules first. Check all drivers, dates and car class. A broker receipt does not replace the original-document handoff.
Compare the accepted total with cover and cancellation clear. If an actual condition is missing, ask before payment. The supplier directory cannot supply a missing clause about deposits, delays or a requested car class.
SIXT's example uses an ORIX desk, a call and a transfer to the office. Read your own company's directions if the booking differs. Add those steps before the first drive. A terminal desk listing is not proof of instant car pickup.
Do not infer it. SIXT gives distinct Terminal 1 and 2 routes. Ask the provider for the approach that fits your arrival. A terminal change can alter bag movement and timing. That matters even if the rental company stays the same.
No such guarantee follows from the flight number. Read the delay and no-show terms. Ask about a late arrival before payment and keep the contact route ready. If the timing stays uncertain, compare a later pickup after a night nearby.
Use the agreed office entrance and fuel process. Add the car check and transport to the flight terminal. Work backward from airline check-in. Leave room for waiting too. If the time or office changes, get supplier consent before acting.
Check the terminal reception, office and return before comparing price. Leave time for luggage and handoff, with a delay plan you have actually read. The car starts the regional journey only after those airport steps are complete.
